Hi everyone,

I’ll do a monthly summary at the end of January – basically it’s been some decent birding in amongst some terrible weather, but I’ve seen some cracking birds. Anyway – with the rain, it’s been good for frogs, and the drain up the road from me (like 3 houses up the road) has been particularly froggy. The problem with me and frogs is, however, that I’m rubbish at ID’ing them, even with books and the internet.

So – I throw myself at the mercy of the internet – here are 4 frogs and if you can, ID them for me. All frogs apart from the Dwarf Green Tree frog were thumbnail-ish in size. Either comment below if you like, or shoot me an email – admin at

And thanks to Aaron who is a champion for ID’ing them for me.

I’ll be back out tonight to try for some (hopefully) better photos of them.
